RENEW YOUR CLIENT’S SKIN
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The microneedling machine is fitted with a cartridge using either 9, 12, 36 or 42 prong microscopically thin needles which are used only once and disposed of. No needle should be used more then once due to bacterial infections and needle bluntness.
The needles oscillate up and down at 20,000 and 10,000 revolutions per minute, puncturing the skin, create tiny puncture holes in the epidermis, causing micro-trauma.
Once the epidermis has inflicted the wound, the immune system will respond by repairing the area. while repairing the damaged area, the body will reproduces new healthy collagen naturally and elastin cells.
What ever product you use on the open punctured epidermis after the treatment and at home, will be absorbed into the dermal layer. So be sure to use a superior product. We recommend serums from Germany for the best results.
DOES IT HURT?
The short answer would be NO, provided the therapist uses a good topical epidermal anaesthetic and that they put enough of the anaesthetic everywhere they plan to treat and that they wrap the area adequately with cling wrap.
After the treatments the skin feels like you have a slight sun burn.
DERMA ROLLER VERSES THE DR PEN™
Dermal Rollers only have one needle length and it cannot be adjusted during the treatments for different areas. The cost of the derma roller is higher, as you have to purchase a hole roller or roller head instead of a small, cheaper cartridge.
The derma roller has a large head and cannot fit in small areas unlike the Dr. Pen™ tips that have a much smaller surface area so those small, intricate areas are easy to get into.
The Dermal Roller needles tear little incisions into the skin instead of puncturing little straight holes in the skin like the Dr. Pen™.
The Dr. Pen™ is easier to operate and less taxing on the operator as the machine does all the work. It simply has to be guided across the skin lightly. The cartridges are easy to install and the needle depth is easy to adjust in the areas that are thinner and more sensitive, making it easy to adjust the treatment to suit your clients needs.
The most important difference between Dermal Roller and the Dr. Pen™ is the micro-punctures per minute. The Dermal Roller make 3000 and 4000 holes per minute and the Dr. Pen™ make between 20,000 and 10,000 puncture holes per minute, depending on the model Dr. Pen™ used.
IMPORTANCE OF ADEQUATE TRAINING
The Importance of Adequate Training is so important for the safety of the patient. Scarring is a definite problem and is seen so many times done from therapists that are untrained. Not only are untrained therapists damaging the patients face but their reputations. We have made the course affordable so please take advantage of been trained adequately for both your future patients and your good name. You want to increase your treatments not close your doors.
