How does it work?

Clearlight LD808 is a laser apparatus emitting specific 808nm wave length of light to remove hair on target area while none to minimum Damage on surrounding tissues, made possible with high power pulse technology leading to safe performance on target area.

The Clearlight LD808 Diode Laser uses the 808nm wavelength which is delivered only to melanin pigments and destroys hair by the roots. It is designed for effective permanent hair removal treatments. The Clearlight LD808 delivers the 808nm laser light as the hand piece is moved across the skin to perform the treatment. Lasers can cause localized damage by selectively heating dark target matter, melanin within the hair while not heating the rest of the skin. The laser emits a beam of light that passes through the skin, to the hair follicle. Energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle, and then transformed into heat to destroy the follicle.
